New Catalog Projects - Part 3

This project combines some old with some new.  I am loving this color combination (I bet you already gathered that though) of Island Indigo and Costal Cabana.  The sentiment is from the new stamp set called Chalk Talk.  It's stamped in Costal Cabana and then layered on a Labels Collection framelit.  The flowers are from one of my absolute favorite stamp sets called Secret Garden.  While the stamp set itself is not new, I cut these out using the new Magnetic Platform for the Big Shot.  Let me tell you - this is the greatest thing since sliced bread!  I love that I can put my stamped images on the cutting pad and position the framelits and not have them move around before I get them cut!!!  Fantastic.  These were stamped on Costal Cabana with VersaMark ink and then embossed with white embossing powder.  I "colored" them using Coastal Cabana and Pumpkin Pie markers and I also used a VersaMarker for some added shading.  I finished them off with some Dazzling Details for a little bling.  The white layer is embossed with a new embossing folder called Beautifully Baroque.  This was a fun card to create and I think I'm going to do it in some other color combinations and see how they turn out.

This weekend brings lots of stamping action.  Saturday is a fun shoebox swap up in the mountains and Sunday is a class at my home (not being taught by me though) in making cards with Washi tape.  Saturday is son #4's birthday (good grief he'll be 39) and Sunday is my sister's birthday (won't tell age on that one though) so there will be some fun dinners out!

Thanks for visiting!
