A Challenge from the Girls

I am friends with a wonderful group of demonstrators.  We do card camps and classes together and we also get together every Monday morning for breakfast (at least those of us who are retired).  With the current situation though, we have been forced to get together via the messaging app on our phones.  While not as much fun as getting together to teach others or just to socialize with each other, it still keeps us in touch with how everyone is doing.  One of the gals thought she had lost her mojo and one of the other gals decided a challenge was in order.  We each had to make and share via messenger two cards.  This is one of mine:

I absolutely love daisies and when the smaller daisy stamp and punch came out, I was thrilled.  When the new Ornate Garden suite of products came out, I was in 7th heaven!  This card was made using an Early Espresso card base with a Mint Macaron layer that was embossed with the Coastal Weave embossing folder.  I had some scraps of the gorgeous Ornate Garden dsp on my desk, so that was put to use as a layer too!  I stamped off the smaller daisy image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Early Espresso on white and So Saffron and punched them out.  I had my Happy Birthday sentiment from Peaceful Moments on my desk and stamped that with Early Espresso on a piece of white and punched it out using the Label Me Fancy punch and layered that onto an Early Espresso punched piece using the Label Me Lovely punch.  I had not used these punches before, but expect they will get some use once camps and classes start back up.  I finished it off by putting a lovely Gold Faceted gem in the center of the daisy.  This was a quick and simple card to put together and I really like the combo of the daisy punch and this lovely dsp!

Here are the products I used on this project:
