Stamp Camp North - January 12, 2019

This Saturday, January 12 is the first stamp camp of the year in Westminster.  This is always a great event and this month we are also having a soup bar.  The weather in Colorado is often unpredictable, but I think it will be cold enough to warrant some nice warm soup!  Here is my card for this camp:

You may have noticed that I really have a thing for butterflies and the 2019 Occasions Catalog from Stampin' Up! has so many wonderful butterfly images - stamps, dies, punches and some really great designer series paper that you can earn for free with a $50 order.  You can check out this gorgeous catalog by clicking on the "My Stampin' Up! Website" button at the top of the right sidebar, or you can go HERE..  The beautiful designer series paper that is on this card was also on my downline meeting swap card .

Here is some additional information on this camp (in case you might want to join us):
I will be sharing the cards from this camp early next week so please be sure to stop back and check them out.  If you have any questions about this camp, feel free to leave me a comment below or shoot me an email (address on the sidebar).

Downline Meeting Swap Card

My downline group has not had a meeting in a very long time.  Everyone has been so busy and it is difficult sometimes to find a time when everyone who wants to can attend.  This Friday, January 15, we will be meeting in Longmont, Colorado to share our thoughts, cards and questions (and have a nice lunch while we are at it)!  We are swapping and this is my swap card:

I hope the gals like it!  I will share the cards from this meeting this weekend.  We have some really talented ladies in our group and I am sure the cards will be outstanding.

Thanks for visiting!

Sassy Chic Stamp Camp Cards - January 5, 2019

We kicked off 2019 in a new venue and it was fabulous!  Extremely comfortable, great lighting and best of all, we are now all in the same room.  The campers were happy, the demonstrators were happy - so great results all around.  Here are the cards we made:

I do not have names to go with these as it was a bit chaotic for our first camp, but take it from me, there were some really talented people there!

Happy New Year!

I wanted to pop in here today and wish everyone a very Happy New Year!  We will be celebrating quietly here at home while the wind is blowing and the snow is falling and the temperature is dropping!  Now that Belmira has been moved from Florida to Massachusetts, there will be no sailing for us this winter.  Summer is coming though and while we thought we might take a year off, it doesn't look like that's going to happen.  Kids and grandkids are all hankering to spend some time aboard with us this summer, so .... we shall see!

I am taking pix of the cards from Saturday's very fun Rose Hill Grange Stamp Camp and will be posting them soon as well as some announcements for upcoming camps and cards.  Lots happening around here and I'll be sharing all of it with you!  Thanks for hanging in with me and see you next year!

They will have a choice of any of  5 colors for their card.  This camp is a celebration of the spring and summer to come, and a heads up to the end of the cold and dark winter!  This card makes us of some of the wonderful products available in January from Stampin' Up!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday wishes to each of you!

I have been absent from this blog since April of this year and I am not even going to try to tell you everything that has happened.  I have continued to be very busy with stamp camps and classes as well as spending about 4 months living aboard Belmira in Florida and also in Massachusetts.  To say it has been a busy and eventful year is a complete understatement.

This month brings the 11th anniversary of this blog - something I didn't even contemplate when I began.  I have enjoyed it immensely and really do hope to get back to posting on a more regular basis.  I won't get overly ambitious and make any commitments like "daily", but do hope to post at least once a week.  We shall see.

The pix above came about after a gathering of my fellow demos for a holiday celebration (I got a white elephant!!) and I had a pile of gorgeous ribbon sitting on my desk that I found myself playing with constantly.  I love ribbon (and paper, and stamps and buttons, and ink, and paint ... you know the drill) and it just looked too nice in that pile and I had to take a picture of it.

I hope to start sharing my camp creations with you starting with the fun Rose Hill Grange Stamp Camp on Saturday, the 29th.  We are having a beach party!  No more Christmas cards and only nice bright spring and summer colors.  We will all be sporting our Hawaiian style shirts and enjoying beach party decorations.  Here's the flyer:

If you have any questions about anything regarding this post or the camp, please feel free to comment or send me an email (link in the sidebar).  It's good to be back and I look forward to a wonderful 2019 with all of you!

Stamp Camp North - April 14, 2018

Hello everyone!  This weekend is Stamp Camp North.  Another great creative activity in the Denver metro area.  Here is the card the campers will be making at my table:

I am entering this card in the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Color #2 challenge:
http://trystampinontuesday.blogspot.com/2018/04/color-challenge-2.html
I haven't done a challenge in such a long time, but the colors in this one just screamed at me!

Here is some more information on this fun camp:
I think I am finally getting back into the swing of things and it sure has been a fun filled couple of weeks!  Stampin' Up!'s new catalog will be out very soon and we demonstrators are really excited with all the wonderful new toys we will soon get to play with.  I won't have it in hand for another month, but I have had a chance to view a pdf copy of it and WOW doesn't do it justice.  Get ready for some great new stamps, tools AND a color revamp!   It is our 30th anniversary this year and they have pulled out all the stops!

Thanks for visiting!
