More Clean & Simple (CAS) Christmas cards

As I mentioned before, I am enjoying the Facebook group for Clean & Simple Card Making. Here are a couple of cards I made using inspiration from this group:

The card at the top was created using a die I purchased on Amazon. The next two cards use laser cut wooden snowflakes I have had for a couple of years and never used! The bottom four cards are all created using digital stamped images from Lily of the Valley that I colored using Stampin' Blends. I cannot tell you how much inspiration I get from this group! What a talented group of crafters and the page monitors are the best!

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Downline Meeting Swap - October 2023

I attended a downline meeting on Monday night. Even though she is not my upline, I really enjoy the meetings that Terry Kaspari puts together. Here is the swap I made for the other demonstrators:
The card base is Basic White with a layer of Shaded Spruce and a layer of dsp from the Walk in the Forest designer series paper pack. This pack is so fun and the bear featured on some of the patterns is punch-able and the trees are able to be die cut! I used the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder on a piece of Shaded Spruce and cut the tree from Garden Green. The sentiment is from the Merriest Trees stamp set and it was stamped using Shaded Spruce ink on a die cut from the Something Fancy die set. I added a couple of pearls from the Festive Pearls collection and some silver trim from the Simply Elegant Trim pack.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Crazy Card Chics - October 2023

Here is the card that the campers will be making with my kit:
The card base is Basic White with a panel of Cherry Cobbler topped with a piece of Basic White that was created using an old Time Holtz stencil and Cherry Cobbler ink. I then embossed that panel and attached it to the Cherry Cobbler layer on the card base. I added a die cut daisy and some leaves along with a sentiment that was computer generated and cut out using the Nested Essentials dies. The Cherry Cobbler die cut piece is attached to the card base with dimensionals and a couple of gold pearls from the Festive Pearls pack.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

One Last (I promise) Halloween card

I have one last Halloween card to share:
This was an entry on the FB group for Clean & Simple Card Making. I couldn't resist this image from Lily of the Valley. It's a white card base with a layered stitched circle. Very easy and satisfying too! I've been making some Christmas cards using the CAS (Clean & Simple) principle and will share those soon.

I am getting ready for a retreat in Blackhawk, Colorado, making cards for a demo meeting and prepping cards for Crazy Card Chicks. I've been busy and will share some of those projects soon.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Stamp Camp North - October 2023

We're having a sale at this month's camp! Lots of crafty supplies - paper, stamps, etc. Here is the card the campers will be making at my table:
The card base is Basic White thick cardstock. Then there is a strip of the new Delightful Floral dsp on Pretty Peacock card stock. There is a piece of Basic White cardstock on Pretty Peacock that I may end up embossing with an embossing folder before adding the flowers and leaves (from Translucent Florals) that I cut out. The sentiment is computer generated and I will have alternative options for the campers. I added some Adhesive Back Glitter Sequins to give some added bling!

Here is some more information about this fun camp:

Happy Halloween Cards

I have been binging a bit on making Halloween cards. Here are a few:

I had lots of fun using dies and my Scan n Cut machine to make the elements for these cards. I also got a chance to do some graphics creations! All and all it has been a very fun experience and I learned a lot about using SVG files with my Scan n Cut. I will have a few more to show you before Halloween.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Creative Card Chics is LIVE this month!

Creative Card Chics is hosting a LIVE stamp camp and SALE this month at the Adams County Fairgrounds. Here is the card the campers will be making at my table:
The card uses some retired designer series paper called Texture Chic and a retired paper color called Soft Succulent. There is also some gold foil paper and Petal Pink card stock. I love Soft Succulent and was so sad when it retired. I have plenty though so I can still use it. I also used the Stylish Shapes dies and I really hope that SU doesn't retire those any time soon.

I will have a ton of paper, cards and ribbon to sell and the other campers will have lots of various stuff to sell including stamp sets and dies! My granddaughter Isabella will be coming along tomorrow and that always makes for a super fun day.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

A couple of fractured cards

I have been playing with a new technique called "fractured" cards. It is addicting! There were a couple very basic ones here but I wanted to try a couple using different shapes. Here's the result:

The top one used a hexagon shape and the bottom one used the Tailored Tag punch. These look much harder to make than they were. For the top card I used a card base and strips of Pretty Peacock. The dsp is from the new All About Autumn pack and is the reverse side of one of the leaf prints. The bottom one uses a card base and strips of Night of Navy. The dsp is from the Countryside Inn pack. These were great fun to make, but I may have run out of appropriate shapes to use as a starting point.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!
