Downline Swaps and Make & Take Projects

Today was our monthly downline meeting. I always look forward to these meetings so much. The gals in this group are all so talented and friendly and willing to share knowledge and experiences. It's GREAT! Today we learned some brayering techniques and I feel like I learned a lot in a short period of time. My card is not as nice as I would like, but now I can try it at home and do a better job! We also made magnetic message boards and learned to do the embossed "tin" technique.

We talked a lot today about Michelle Zindorf and her amazing work. I promised a link to her blog, and here it is: Freedom in Creating. A visit to her blog is like a visit to a fine art gallery so be sure to take a look at her wonderful creations.

Thanks for visiting today. This is post #750 and the old hit counter is slowly but surely approaching 40k, so watch for some blog candy next week. New SU goodies arrived today so there will be some sneaky peeks at the goodness in the new Summer Mini catalog too! Also have new Gina K and Papertrey in the house as well and hopefully I'll get a chance to play a bit this weekend.
