It's Our Birthday! Sassy Chic Stamp Camp - August 2020

This year marks 10 years for our Sassy Chic Stampers!  We love our campers and really want to make sure that we stay in touch through this health situation.  We love you guys and do not want to lose touch!

I will be doing a card that will fit for anyone - male or female - hopefully using the Forever Ferns suite!

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Rose Hill Card Kit camp - July, 2020

Here's the card I am making for our July Rose Hill Card Kit camp:

The card base is Bumblebee.  The first layer is embossed with the Old World Paper embossing folder and is Cinnamon Cider (I am really liking this color)!  There is a square of Bumblebee and another angled over it using one of the wonderful patterns from the Flowers for Every Season dsp pack.  I added punched daisies in Bumblebee and Cinnamon Cider (the Bumblebee one is also embossed) and a small punched circle of gold glimmer paper.  I am so sad that we no longer sell that, but I did manage to get a bit of a stash before it went away!  The sentiment is stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla and is from an old stamp set that was in my drawer.  I don't know who made it, but it's a nice one!

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

A few Reminders ...

Stamp Camp North, Sassy Chic Stamp Camp and Rose Hill Stamp Camp will ALL be holding "virtual" card camps this month!  These activities have proven to be great resources for crafters during a time when we cannot physically get together to create.  Be sure to check out the information in the flyers and get in on the action in July!  Here is my proposed card for this month's Stamp Camp North card:

This card uses the dsp and one of the leaf sprays from Forever Ferns.  I absolutely love this set and can see using it for all kinds of occasions!  This card is pretty much monocrhomatic using the new in-color Just Jade and the stamping is done using Shaded Spruce - what a fantastic color combination that is going to be!  The Just Jade top layer is embossed with the new Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder.  I think that is going to rapidly become one of my favorite embossing folders for adding some interest to the layers on my cards.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Happy Independence Day USA!

During these times of great turmoil on our planet, sometimes it would greatly benefit us to just stop and think about our lives.  Reflect on what is good and be grateful and on what is bad and be determined to make it better.  That is all any one of us can do - work torwards making things better - if we each do our best hopefully we can see things improve for the future of our planet.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Rose Hill Grange Card Kits to Go - July 2020

I am sure that the gals that have participated in this virtual camp so far are happy with the cards they have been getting, at least those that have talked to me about it.  The cards are great and if you choose the kit option,, you can put it together any way you would like.  Make it exactly like the picture or add your own stamps or embellishments and make it your very own.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Rose Hill Grange Stamp Camp - June, 2020 - Cards Part 1

This month's Rose Hill Grange "virtual" stamp camp was a rousing success.  Here are the first 5 of the cards we shared with our crafty friends:

I will be back tomorrow with the last of the cards to share with you.  As always, this was a fun project and I really hope the campers had as much fun as the demos!  I will also have a flyer for next month's Rose Hill Stamp Camp which promises to be equally a great time!

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!
