Crazy Card Chics - May 20, 2023

Well we had our very first in person camp since the pandemic on Saturday. We held camp at the 4H Building at the Adams County Fairgrounds and it was just wonderful! Everyone had a great time and the facility was marvelous. We hope to be back there in September! Here is the card the gals made at my table:
I got to use some of the new designer series paper called Countryside Inn. The card base is a white 100# card stock and there are layers using Night of Navy. Overall, the day was a complete success!

Here is some information on the June card kits to go:

A Father's Day Card

I have no father living, but I have a son and stepsons who are father's and step-father's, so I made some Father's Day cards:

The top one was created using some very excellent instructions from my friend Diane Martel Lapointe in Canada. I saw a card she posted on Facebook and she kindly sent me the dimensions so that I could try it too! Thanks so much Diane! The other two are just me using up some retired paper and some very old dsp along  with some of my new toys - Nested Essentials dies from the new Stampin' Up! catalog and the Cane Weave 3D embossing folder. Some of the paper is also retired i.e. Soft Suede and Cinnamon Cider. The dsp is from some old 6x6 paper packs from Basic Grey. I also used Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla card stock. I created the sentiment on my computer.
I made some masculine birthday cards as well that I will share later this week.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Stamp Camp North - May 13, 2023

It's time to prepare for May's Stamp Camp North! Here is the card the campers will be making at my table:

I wanted to use some of the gorgeous designer series paper available in the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog which goes live on May 2. This designer series paper is part of the new Fresh As a Daisy suite of products. I rarely buy a Suite of products and instead just purchase the elements I want, but this suite just spoke to me! The papers are gorgeous, the Adhesive Backed Solid Gems match the papers beautifully and I got to use some paper in the new color called Bubble Bath, a delightful pink! I added a layer of Berry Burst (a returning color) on the card front.  The white layer is embossed using another of the trio of 3D Embossing Folders available in the Online Exclusives store. The dsp is mounted on Berry Burst paper. The sentiment is stamped on a Basic White piece using Berry Burst ink and mounted on another piece of Berry Burst card stock. I added some punched flowers that were stamped with Berry Burst and Bubble Bath using the flowers and punch from the Petal Park bundle. The campers will have options for other sentiments. I added some Glossy Dots for some bling on the center of the punched flowers and the card is done.

Here is some more information on this wonderful event:
