Color Variation for Christmas

While I will forever love the green, red, gold color combination, I wanted to do something just a bit different with the die I recently received.  Here's a "snowy" version:
For this card I used a Night of Navy card base with a layer of dsp from the Snowflake Splendor pack. I added an embossed strip of Night of Navy and the die cut from Silver Foil.  I punched a couple of spiky flowers from the excess pieces of Silver Foil and added some gemstones from the Noble Peacock gem collection.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Another Christmas Card

I don't know about you, but when I get a new toy I really like to play with it.  I got this die earlier this week and couldn't wait to play with it.  I have done die cuts using different colors and you may see the results of that one of these days, but for Christmas I just didn't think I could go wrong with green, red and gold:
I like how it turned out!

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Rose Hill Grange virtual camp card/kit

Here is the card I am making for October's Rose Hill Grange virual camp:

The card base is Shaded Spruce with a layer of Night of Navy.  The image is stamped on heavy Whisper White and is a stamp from this month's stamp offering on Technique Junkies.  It is stamped in Night of Navy in.  The sentiment is from my box of Christmas sentiments and is an old unmounted red rubber stamp stamped using Night of Navy in and mounted on a strip of silver glitter paper.

Not sure what I am doing with the inside yet, but it will probably be something computer generated.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

A few more ...

Here's a couple more:

The top card is just a card blank using heavy weight Whisper White.  The stamp is from this month's new stamps from Technique Junkies and I colored it using SU markers and Copic markers. The bottom card uses Shaded Spruce, Real Red, Basic Black and gold foil along with a wonderful die purchased from a friend. Sentiments on both cards are current SU stamp sets Banner Year and Have a Hoot.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

This was made using a card blank from SU and adding some diecuts in gold foil to complete it.

Register NOW! Stamp Camp North

It's not too late to get registered for this fun virtual adventure.  Here are the details:
There are always great cards/kits for cards available from this camp and I encourage you to get your information to Juli as soon as possible.  Here is the card from me for this month:
The card base is Mint Macaron with a layer of Copper foil and an embossed layer of Mint Macaron (using the Old World Paper embossing folder).  I layered a strip of some of the gorgeous Gilded Autumn specialty DSP (on sale this month).  I used leftover strips of the Copper Foil and layered on a sentiment from one of the Paper Pumpkin kits.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!
