Merry Christmas!
I have been absent from this blog since April of this year and I am not even going to try to tell you everything that has happened. I have continued to be very busy with stamp camps and classes as well as spending about 4 months living aboard Belmira in Florida and also in Massachusetts. To say it has been a busy and eventful year is a complete understatement.
This month brings the 11th anniversary of this blog - something I didn't even contemplate when I began. I have enjoyed it immensely and really do hope to get back to posting on a more regular basis. I won't get overly ambitious and make any commitments like "daily", but do hope to post at least once a week. We shall see.
The pix above came about after a gathering of my fellow demos for a holiday celebration (I got a white elephant!!) and I had a pile of gorgeous ribbon sitting on my desk that I found myself playing with constantly. I love ribbon (and paper, and stamps and buttons, and ink, and paint ... you know the drill) and it just looked too nice in that pile and I had to take a picture of it.
I hope to start sharing my camp creations with you starting with the fun Rose Hill Grange Stamp Camp on Saturday, the 29th. We are having a beach party! No more Christmas cards and only nice bright spring and summer colors. We will all be sporting our Hawaiian style shirts and enjoying beach party decorations. Here's the flyer:
If you have any questions about anything regarding this post or the camp, please feel free to comment or send me an email (link in the sidebar). It's good to be back and I look forward to a wonderful 2019 with all of you!

Sassy Chic Stamp Camp Cards - 04/07/2018
Hi everyone! I wanted to share our cards from camp on Saturday:
Everyone had a wonderful time, the weather was cold in the morning, but really warmed up nicely as the day went on. We had a group come celebrating a birthday party! The guests included some guys who really did seem to enjoy themselves - a lot! What a grand way to celebrate your birthday, crafting and creating with friends!
Stamp Camp North is coming up this weekend, Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Westminster Elks Lodge. You can find the flyer with all the details below. Having been out of the loop for 3 months it is really fun to be getting back into creative mode again. I will share my card for this camp just as soon as I figure out what I am making! LOL!

Happy Easter!
We are now back home and attempting to settle in;. There has been snow and cold which has made adjusting a bit more difficult, but spring is coming and it will be fine. DH will be heading back to Florida in a few weeks in order to move Belmira back up to New England when we will start sailing in the summer once again. We liked the climate in Florida, but the sailing left a great deal to be desired. I long for deeper waters!
Hopefully, I will be able to get back to blogging on a more regular basis. What that means for me remains to be seen - LOL! April's calendar is filled with fun stamping events and I hope to share those with you as they come along.
Keep creating! Thanks for visiting!

Another Update
Sorry there has been no wonderful food photos, but not for the lack of wonderful food! We are now (finally) on a mooring in Stuart, Florida. We spent quite some time at the marina in Indiantown and finally got her in the water, motor reluctantly started, and moved down the river to the St. Lucie Lock. Spent some time there getting everything moved aboard and getting provisioned. Now we are finally in Stuart and getting all the final piece in place to head out to the Bahamas.
I can't begin to explain how nice it is to be on a mooring, in open water, with the sounds and feel of the water moving around us. This is what I remember of sailing! Don't know where circumstances will lead us, but we will be here for a bit before we move on.
I feel like my knees are getting stronger and I can climb on and off the boat pretty well, Getting in and out of the dinghy on shore is another matter, but I am managing!
I will post more as I can and I really appreciate you hanging in there with me as I begin another adventure on the water.
Thanks for visiting!

An Update
Well we made it to the boat and DH is working hard to get things in order to put her in the water. We didn't have too much damage from the hurricanes, but our battery bank was completely dead and it is very slow to charge up again. The surfaces, both interior and exterior are all covered with some degree of mold that will need to be cleaned up before we can get her in the water and begin moving all our belongings back on board. Right now we are staying in our RV in the campground in the marina and hope to be able to get Belmira launched early next week. I will post more (hopefully with some pictures) in the near future.
The weather is so far cooperating and we have not had rain since we made it to the marina. We had quite a bit on the way down here though. We had a wonderful visit with friends from the Carter Lake Sail Club on Dauphin Island and two of those friends are now camped across from us in the campground.
We have not made it into Stuart for dinner yet, but my FB friends can look forward to some yummy food pix very soon!
Thanks for visiting!
