Sassy Chic Stamp Camp - October 2020

Here is my card for October's Sassy Chic Stamp Camp:
The theme this month is for fall cards.  I chose Thankful Season to use for my card.  The card base is Basic Black with a layer of Pumpkin Pie that was embossed using the Pinewood Planks embossing folder.  I added a square of Mango Melody topped by a piece of the Plaid Tidings dsp.  I added two gold foil leaves cut using the Gathered Leaves dies and mounted the sentiment stamped in Cajun Craze on Whisper White and punched with a Label Me Fancy punch and layered on a Pumpkin Pie piece punched using the Lovely Label punch.  I added a couple of Gold Glitter dots and called it done!

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Sassy Chic Virtual Card Camp - October 2020

Here is the flyer for the October Sassy Chic Stamp Camp.  This is such a fun event and even though we are not able to meet in person with the creative ladies that come to camp, we are still offering the cards so that we can share our creativity with them.

Tomorrow I will have the cards from the September camp to share with you and I think you will like what we've done.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Stamp Camp North - September 2020

Our virtual camp for September was a rousing success! We really love staying in touch with our creative friends this way even though we can't get together in person, we know we care about each other.  Here are the cards from this month's camp:

This was so much fun to participate in and I look forward to participating again next month!

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Checking In

It seems to be well and truly fall around here, in the mornings anyway. The equinox is approaching and soon it will be darker more than it's light.  We have had our first snow, so that's out of the way and the trees and plants survived quite well.

I hope to be getting my cards from both Sassy Chic and Stamp Camp North and will take pix and share those very soon.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Halloween Slim Line Card for September Rose Hill Grange Camp

We decided to try something new this month for our Rose Hill Grange card kits - slim line cards!  I opted to make a Halloween card:
Hopefully, this will fit quite nicely into a #9 envelope and there is NO stamping on the outside of this card at all.  The bats were made using a retired bat punch from Stampin' Up! and the rest are die cuts from my copius collection.  I used Basic Black as the card base and layered Mango Melody and Gorgeous Grape on top of those.  I attached the die cuts and punched bats using liquid glue, but am looking for a dispenser that won't put quite so much glue on that it squishes out and makes a mess.  You can't see it in this picture, but this card front is, well, not my best work.  The envelopes arrive tomorrow so I will be able to make sure the size is correct.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Checking in from Colorado

It is sleeting here (snow mixed with rain) and it was really, really hot the last few days.  Hubby built a shelter in the garden for our plants:
I hope the veggies can get by without sleeping bags. I don’t even know where to look for cucumber size sleeping bags.
I hope it works as we still have tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers that need a bit more time! It made it through the night and we hope it will protect our crop until this cold snap is over.

I am working on a slim line Halloween card for this month's Rose Hill Stamp Camp and will have something to show you soon.  You can get details on signing up for this camp HERE,

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Stamp Camp North Card - September 2020

Here is my card for this month's Stamp Camp North virtual Card Camp:

The card base is Mango Melody.  First layer is Cajun Craze and it is topped with a layer of Cinamon Cider that has been stamped with the Stacked Stone background stamp in Cinamon Cider.  The "Happy" is from the Happy dies and is backed with a strip of Cajun Craze.  The sentiment is from So Much Happy and is stamped in Cinamon Cider on Very Vanilla and punched with the Lovely Labels punch.  The acorn is stamped in Early Espresso on Cajun Craze card stock and punched with the Autumn Punch Pack.  The oak leaf is stamped in Cinamon Cider on Pumpkin Pie card stock and punched with the Autumn Punch Pack. The maple leaf is stamped in Cinamon Cider on Mango Melody card stock and punched with the Autumn Punch Pack. All three are stamps in the Beautiful Autumn stamp set.  I added a couple of Gold Glitter dots to the sentiment strip for that bit of bling that all cards need!

You can check out the specifics for this camp on my post HERE.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!
