Happy Halloween Cards

I have been binging a bit on making Halloween cards. Here are a few:

I had lots of fun using dies and my Scan n Cut machine to make the elements for these cards. I also got a chance to do some graphics creations! All and all it has been a very fun experience and I learned a lot about using SVG files with my Scan n Cut. I will have a few more to show you before Halloween.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Creative Card Chics is LIVE this month!

Creative Card Chics is hosting a LIVE stamp camp and SALE this month at the Adams County Fairgrounds. Here is the card the campers will be making at my table:
The card uses some retired designer series paper called Texture Chic and a retired paper color called Soft Succulent. There is also some gold foil paper and Petal Pink card stock. I love Soft Succulent and was so sad when it retired. I have plenty though so I can still use it. I also used the Stylish Shapes dies and I really hope that SU doesn't retire those any time soon.

I will have a ton of paper, cards and ribbon to sell and the other campers will have lots of various stuff to sell including stamp sets and dies! My granddaughter Isabella will be coming along tomorrow and that always makes for a super fun day.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

A couple of fractured cards

I have been playing with a new technique called "fractured" cards. It is addicting! There were a couple very basic ones here but I wanted to try a couple using different shapes. Here's the result:

The top one used a hexagon shape and the bottom one used the Tailored Tag punch. These look much harder to make than they were. For the top card I used a card base and strips of Pretty Peacock. The dsp is from the new All About Autumn pack and is the reverse side of one of the leaf prints. The bottom one uses a card base and strips of Night of Navy. The dsp is from the Countryside Inn pack. These were great fun to make, but I may have run out of appropriate shapes to use as a starting point.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

CAS (Clean and Simple) Cards

I have been following a FB group for a while now and they have some of the most talented ladies contributing cards every day. They are all so very inspirational and I have been experimenting with making some myself. Here are some of them:

It's kind of the best of two worlds for me - I get to play with all my computer graphics learning a lot of new things AND I get to play with a style of card that I have not explored before! It's a challenge for me and I am becoming pretty addicted!

I will be back soon with a card for Crazy Card Chics. We are having another LIVE camp this month. We will also be having a sale and I am really looking forward to getting rid of some of the DSP that I have been hoarding hanging around.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Stamp Camp North - September 2023

This month's Stamp Camp North is going ahead in spite of the fact that the basement level (where we usually are) is not quite ready for us. Here is the card the campers will make at my table:
I also used this card for a get together of demonstrators for a shoebox swap. I will have the other cards from that day to show you soon. Needless to say, it was a great day and it was so good spending time with other demonstrators in a casual atmosphere.

The card base is Boho Blue and the elements are layered on Night of Navy. The designer series paper is from the Countryside Inn collection and I am really loving this paper. There are so many different ways you can combine colors!

Here is more information on this very fun camp:
This camp is so much fun and I do hope you find a way to come and enjoy it for yourself!

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Sassy Stampers - September 2023

Due to the Labor Day holiday in the US, Sassy Stampers moved their camp date to September 9, 2023. Stamp Camp North is also on tap for September 16, 2023 although we will be upstairs as the basement is still not ready for us. Here is the card I am making at Sassy Stampers this month:
The card base is Very Vanilla and once again I used the dsp paper pack Inked Botanicals. The flower is from the Sending Smiles stamp set and I also used the Sending Dies. Our theme this month is Thinking of You or Get Well and the campers will have their choice of sentiments for the inside. I used Lost Lagoon to layer the outside and inside and I really love this combo!

Here is some more information on this camp:
We really have fun at this camp and I hope you can join us!

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!
