Longmont Senior Center - October 2025

The Creative Card Making stampers will gather again on October 20, 2025. October brings both a Christmas card and a Halloween card! Here are the cards the stampers will be making at my table:

The Halloween card has a card base of basic black (Neenah) with a layer of Orange Zest (Papertrey). The image on the front is from a digital collection of haunted house journal pages that I found on Etsy. The inside features either "Happy Halloween" or "Trick or Treat" depending on which the stamper selects.

The Christmas cardbase is Pine Feather (Papertrey) with a layer of Pure Poppy (Papertrey) along with a print from a digital collection of Christmas papers that I got from Etsy. The snowflake is from the Delicate Pine dies from Stampin' Up! There will be a choice of sentiments both for the front and for the inside.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Stamp Camp North - October 2025

Stamp Camp North is coming right up and in addition, we have a craft sale! There will be lots of fun things to shop for including designer series paper, stamps and lots of fun crafy things! See flyer below for details!

This is the card the campers will be making at my table:

The card base is Dark Chocolate (Papertrey) along with a layer of Old Olive (Stampin' Up!). There are two pieces of dsp from the Autumn Toile designer series paper pack. These are pieced with a strip of Dark Chocolate and then topped by layers cut using the Color & Countour dies from Stampin' Up! in Old Olive (SU) and Vintage Cream (Papertrey) cardstock. The computer generated top die cut features a stamp from the Amber Autumn stamp set and the sentiment is computer generated. I scanned/colored/ rescanned then printed the graphics onto Vintage Cream cardstock (Papertrey) and cut them out using the dies. The inside contains the message "The trees are about to show us how lovely it is to let things go" along with a graphic from my collection. The reverse side contains only the graphic so the campers can add their own sentiment.

Here is some more details about how you can join in the fun:

This is a very fun activity and I promise you will have a great deal of fun (and maybe pick up some crafty items to boot.)

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Sassy Stampers - August 2025

Here is the card the campers will be making at my table:

The card base is Night of Navy (SU) with a layer of Fresh Freesia (SU) and then a layer of white embossed with the Macrame (retired) embossing folder. The two rectangles are Enchnted Evening (PTI) with rectangles of designer series paper from the Floral Impressions pack. The sentiment is Night of Navy (SU) ink on a label cut using the Labeled with Love dies. I cut a label from dark colored paper and then scanned it and used a larger version cut using my Scan n' Cut machine. The campers will be able to choose both computer generated sentiments or stamped sentiments on the front and computer generated choices for the inside.

August is our 15th Birthday Celebration! We have managed to survive four different locations and lots of changes in personnel, but we are still going strong! Here are some more details on this very fun camp:
I would encourage everyone to come and celebrate with us!

Stamp Camp North - April 2025

Well, another month (or more like a month and a half) has come and gone and I have not posted. Sorry about that - just too busy (and that's a good thing)! Let's do a little catching up!

I posted my card for Sassy Stampers for April, but have not yet posted my card for Stamp Camp North in April. Here it is:

The card base is Summer Splash and I layered Peach Pie and die cuts from the Perennial Postage dies in Petunia Pop and the Bloom Impressions set of DSP. I got to play with my Scan n Cut machine in creating the mat for the Happy Birthday sentiment. The mats were available in 3 colors (Petunia Pop, Peach Pie and Summer Splash). The sentiments offered were Happy Birthday, Thank You, Get Well Soon and Thinking of You and were inside one of the punched labels from the Bright Borders stamp set. These were punched out using the To the Point label punch. I love using my Scan n' Cut machine and it is so much fun to create mats to go with all the various punches!

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

The card base is Balmy Blue with a layer of Old Olive and then some Floral Delight designer series paper. I love this DSP! There are no patterns in it that I cannot use and I really like that. The image is from the Bright Borders stamp set and is punched out using the To the Point label punch. The sentiment is computer generated as is the card inside. Campers can choose four different sentiments for the front and three different sentiments for the inside as well as a blank insert.

This camp is super fun. Here is some more information about this camp:

Creative Card Chics is LIVE this month!

Creative Card Chics is hosting a LIVE stamp camp and SALE this month at the Adams County Fairgrounds. Here is the card the campers will be making at my table:
The card uses some retired designer series paper called Texture Chic and a retired paper color called Soft Succulent. There is also some gold foil paper and Petal Pink card stock. I love Soft Succulent and was so sad when it retired. I have plenty though so I can still use it. I also used the Stylish Shapes dies and I really hope that SU doesn't retire those any time soon.

I will have a ton of paper, cards and ribbon to sell and the other campers will have lots of various stuff to sell including stamp sets and dies! My granddaughter Isabella will be coming along tomorrow and that always makes for a super fun day.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

The flowers were die cut using Fresh Freesia and then stamped with Orchid Oasis. The leaves were die cut using Old Olive and stamped with Old Olive. There will be several sentiments available in addition to the one shown in the Basic White oval die cut from the Stitched Shapes dies and then layered on an oval cut using the Basic Ovals dies. Stamp Camp North - March 2023

This month's stamp camp is going to be a lot of fun. It's our semi-annual craft sale in addition to our regular monthly stamp camp. Here is the card the campers will be making at my table:
The campers will have a choice from six different sentiments for the outside. I just love the Beautifully Happy stamp set which is free with a $100 order until Feb. 28. The card base is Basic White with a layer of Soft Seafoam embossed using the Dotted Swiss embossing folder. There is a panel of Dainty Flowers dsp mounted on a strip of Rich Razzleberry on the left side of the card front. The image panel is stamped using the Beautifully Happy stamp set (it's a 2-step stamping set so no coloring!) and it's mounted on a panel of Rich Razzleberry. I used Fresh Freesia and Granny Apple Green to color the image and the image was stamped using Smoky Slate for a softer look.  I stamped the small dots in Smoky Slate on the image panel. The sentiment is computer generated and punched using the oval punch and it's layered on a Rich Razzleberry scalloped oval punch and I added some Basic Rhinestone jewels.

The stem and leaves are stamped using Mint Macaron. The sentiment is cut using a die cut from the Stylish Shapes dies and the campers will have a choice of sentiments. Crazy Card Chics - February 2023

Crazy Card Chics virtual stamp camp kits are going out next week and here is my offering for this month:
This card is really simple and uses a couple of new (to me) products and a couple of older products as well as my computer skills (which are limited). The card base is Soft Succulent with a layer of Daffodil Delight that was embossed with the retired Painted Textures folder. I cut one of the patterns from the new Fancy Flora dsp packages into 5 x 2 inch strips and positioned one to the left  on the embossed piece. The Soft Succulent label and the sentiment were cut using the Tasteful Labels dies. The Soft Succulent piece is popped up using dimensionals. The sentiment is computer generated and the campers will have a choice of Just a Note, Happy Birthday, Get Well Soon or Thinking of You. I added some gold embellishments.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

Stamp Camp North - February 2023

Stamp Camp North is coming up on February 11 in Westminster, Colorado and I am so loving the Adorable Owls set, I had to use it. Here's my card:
The card base is Fresh Freesia with a layer of Petal Pink and then some strips of dsp from the Dandy Designs pack that is free with a $100 order from Stampin' Up! during Sale-a-Bration. There are some absolutely wonderful papers in this huge paper pack. I stamped the owl and colored him with blends and then scanned him and printed him out. I then cut him out using one of the dies from the Stylish Shapes die. The image was then mounted on a scalloped circle cut from Petal Pink. The sentiment is stamped in Fresh Freesia on a Basic White piece cut using a die from the Pretty Pillowbox die set. I added a couple of gems to give it a little bling! The sentiment is from an old Paper Pumpkin stamp set and has a few sentiments that will fit in that label. Not sure what I will do on the inside yet.

Here are the details about this very fun event:

Sassy Stampers Stamp Camp - February 2023

Sassy Stampers is having a stamp camp on February 4, 2023 in Longmont, Colorado. I have put the details for this fun event down below.  Here's my card:
The card base is Balmy Blue followed by a layer of Petal Pink on which is layered pieces of Designer Series Paper from the Dainty Designs and Country Floral Lane packs. I cut the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes dies from Balmy Blue card stock and then cut the next size circle from Petal Pink and embossed it using an embossing folder. The picture doesn't show the Pretty Flowers embossing folder as it was lost at the time I made this card. The hearts and leaves are punched from the Country Floral Lane dsp using the Country Bouquet punch. The small oval was cut using the Double Oval Punch and stamped in Sweet Sorbet ink with a sentiment from the Dainty Delight stamp set.

The cleanup/organize project in the Craft Cave is progressing, but I am still having problems finding things. Once you put things in their proper places, you then have to remember where those proper places are!
