Allison (Stampin' When I Can) put up this gem on her blog the other day. I ruminated about what it might be like in paper and she promptly posted this wonderful sample. I finally came out of the deep freeze and made this one:
I am into gift card holders this season for some reason. They're fun!
A friend of mine is graduating from Naropa Institute this weekend (way to go Jill) and so I made this card for her:
It is above zero here now - YAY - but anything below 70 is still cold as far as I'm concerned! The grandkids are coming for dinner tonight and it's going to be that all time comfort food, chicken and dumplings, for us. Gotta keep those babies warmed up!
Thanks for visiting today!

Love your take on the gift card holder esp. with that paper! And the gold embossing on your card is just perfect to make a special grad card. And, BTW, it is about the same temp here in Calgary. I have heard that it was particularly nasty down in your parts though!
It looks great Chris!!!
Love the Graduating card too!!
Hope you had fun with the grandkids!
Awesome gift card holder!! Hey, I'm in Nevada, and we just had two days with below zero temps! Guess our storm went your direction!! Have a nice day!
Hugs!!
Hi Chris...Love your graduation card and your gift card holder too but really like the graduation card the best. Did I say I like the graduation card. Yep I do.
