I "blurf" alot of blogs and the NMBS blog (No More Bad Swaps) is one I read regularly. I've never done one of their challenges before, but I thought I'd give this one a try. These are love note size - 3 x 3 and I will make a box for them from a template that you can get by clicking on the link over to the right. I struggled with the monogram trying circles and squares and finally came up with this one. The card base is Pink Pirouette and the dp is Ivory Floral from Paper Adventures. The stamps are from Together Forever for the medallion and Lovely Letters alphabet for the initial, both from Stampin' Up! I used my 2" scallop circle punch for the medallion and a 1 1/4" circle punch for the letter.
Here is today's blog candy addition. I got a couple of these Pearlescent Watercolor paint pads from My Favorite Things and they are wonderful. It's like having Pearl-ex already made into a water color cake for you! No measuring or mixing required. Just wet and paint. The colors are great and very sparkly!
Remember, there will be a new addition to the original candy package every day till Friday so be sure to come back and visit to get some additional chances to win!
Thanks for visiting!

Love the card! I've not done challenges, but I do hope to. You did such a great job!
That's a really sweet card! Love it :)
This is a pretty card. I have never used those paints before. Those are neat.
I love the love note. I will have to show you what I made a friend but not as nice as yours. Cool Blog candy!
Very pretty card. Love it!

Another beauty, those watercolor paint look awesome, such lovely colors!!!
OOOOOHHHHHH, that paint looks like SO much fun! Beautiful and shimmery! WOW! :D
That card is beautiful and those paints look like very much fun! I love shiny, sparkly things.
Your monogram card is beautiful. It's refreshing to see a monogram card that doesn't use the Just Rite stamps. Don't get me wrong...I would love to have the Just Rite monogram set..but I forget that you can still make a monogram card without it. Thank you for the inspiration! Oh and those paint colors are awesome.

Wow, what a sweet card! I saw that alphabet used on Mary Fish's blog--never really paid much attention to it, but now it is on my wish list! Your choice of DP is beautiful, too!

I really like these monogram note cards. It's a great gift. I'm still treasuring the ones that you made for me for the November RAK that Tracy hosts. : )
