Good morning everyone - I've got a Monday freebie for you that is actually here on Monday!  YAY!!!

Still have a date with the camera and all my recent goodies.  I'll get there.  Lots of things going on - bathroom remodel at home, office remodel at work, grandson's birthday, Thanksgiving!  Luckily, the bathroom remodel is pretty much done so there will be facilities on the first floor when everyone comes for Thanksgiving.  Unfortunately, the office remodel is still going really slow.  They are supposed to come in and put the new floors in the week after Thanksgiving.  Walls are in and the painting is done though!  We still have boxes and boxes of my office things and piles and piles of books from the two library rooms sitting waiting to go back home.  Hopefully by Christmas everything will be back to normal.  Who knew that the much needed rain in September would keep things so up in the air until December!  We were lucky though, so I'm not complaining!

Christmas Card Buffet

I host an annual Christmas Card Buffet for my stamping buddies every November.  This year's festivities will be on November 16, 2013 from noon till 4 at The Scrapbook Shack in Superior, Colorado.  Here's what we will be making this year:

This event is always a fun gathering and I am really looking forward to it.  Participants will make 15 cards (3 each of the above designs) and also an ornament that they can either use to decorate their tree or to decorate a special package for that special someone.  If you live in the Denver/Boulder area and want more information on this fun event, just leave me a comment or shoot me an email (address in the sidebar).

I had originally planned on having a free-for-all tag making table at this event, but the tag making has turned into an event of it's own.  15+ tags and 3+ gift card holders!  This will be an evening class sometime during the first week of December and I'll put up more details as things get going.

Happy November!!!!  I cannot believe that it is November already.  Time gets away from me and I feel like I go to sleep and it's summer and when I wake up it's fall - and it's not just because I live in Colorado!  I have tons to share, but no time to take pictures.  The girls are coming tonight for Monday Night Stamping so maybe I can enlist their aid and get some pictures taken.  Saturday's Sassy Chic Ladies Christmas Lunch was an absolute BLAST!  We had a record turnout and everyone had a wonderful time.

This past weekend some of the gals from the Front Range Stampers group went on a retreat for the day to a wonderful spot in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.  Our fearless leader Jayne Fuller put it all together for us and we had a wonderful time, crafting, sharing, eating and generally having tons of fun.  Here are a couple of pix from that day:

Stamp Camp North - November 9, 2013

Stamp Camp North on Nov. 9 should prove to be tons of fun.  We'll be making holiday cards and getting ourselves in the holiday spirit.  Here's the project I have planned for the campers at my table:

Stamp Camp North is held at the Westminster Elks Lodge just off of 72nd and Federal Blvd. in Westminster, Colorado.  Cost is $25 for 10 wonderful projects and there is yummy treats and great door prizes too!  If you want more information about this camp, just comment below or shoot me an email (link in the sidebar) and I will get the info right out to you.

I'm Back!

Well, I've had a little over a month to get my ducks back in a row and I think it may be time to get back to blogging!  Thanks for being patient with me.  I have been busy and have tons to share with you all.

The Sassy Chic gals are having their annual Christmas Luncheon Stamp Camp on November 2.  This event is so much fun!  12 projects, full luncheon and tons of door prizes.  This is also the only time you can pick up your 2014 Sassy Chic coupon book!  If you want more information, please feel free to comment below or shoot me an email (link in the sidebar) and I will be sure to get it to you.  Cost is $35 and a great time will be had by all.  Here is the project that you will be making at my station:

This event always proves to be a wonderful time for all who attend.  It is held at the Life Bridge Church on Hwy. 66 in Longmont, Colorado from 10:00 till 2:00. 

I'll be back tomorrow with some more fun cards to share with you.  I'm also making progress on the book shawl and starting on a couple of fun knitted Christmas gifts for my granddaughters that I will share as they progress.

Today is the first anniversary of my dad's passing.  Doesn't seem like it could be that long ago.  Miss you dad!
