Block Island Jellyfish

We were surrounded by jellyfish when we arrived at Block Island.  We dropped anchor in the Great Salt Pond and saw these gorgeous creatures all around the boat:

DH went clamming yesterday and luckily there were none where he was clamming.  Not too many clams either!  We had some with pasta for dinner though and they were tasty.  Weather is not looking good for the rest of the week so we will probably haul the anchor and head for Tiverton today rather than get stuck here in the rain till the weekend.

Hopefully I'll have some Christmas in July samples to share with you tomorrow!

Thanks for visiting!

HOLY GUACAMOLE! I have never seen jellyfish like that in the Atlantic! Glad they weren't around when he was clamming!

Hi Chris. We have a Tiverton here in Devon (big county of the UK). Great pics of those jellyfish, not a place to swim then! Jill x
