Well, I never made it to the bead store this trip. Oh well, there was lots to do and I really wanted to make sure I was able to break away on Friday. Caught the train from Union Station at 10:20 a.m. and made it to Providence, RI by about 6:00 p.m It was a delightful train ride, made even more fun by some great conversation with a wonderful gentleman who got off in Bridgeport, CT. - he sure made the time just fly by!
DH took me to Quitos in Bristol for dinner but I didn't take any pictures. Last night though was another story altogether. DH and I were joined by his brother Jordan and we went to Portas da Cidade Restaurant. I love this place! Here's what we had as an appetizer (Spanish Little Necks):
And here's what I had for dinner (Pork and Little Necks):
We got a few more clams today to add to the leftovers for our dinner on board tonight! Yum, yum, yum!
We went out for a morning sail this morning - out into Mt. Hope Bay and under the bridge into the confluence of Narragansett and Mt. Hope Bays. It was glorious. Got a little bit of sun (remembered my sunscreen though so I'm just pink not red). We came back in and got our provisioning done for a little trip we plan for this week. More details on that later.
I've got a freebie for you tomorrow, so come back and check it out.
Thanks for visiting!

Glad you made it Chris! Oooh I know where you are! I went to Providence last year! Hope you have good weather whilst you are on the boat!
I don't like clams but your food does look tasty!
Take care
