My downline group met this week and made criss-cross cards. So much fun I had to try one for Valentine's Day.
Used on this card:
Stamps: Happy Heart Day
Paper: rose red, regal rose, rose red dp, very vanilla
Ink: basic black, rose red and regal rose markers
Accessories: regal rose ribbon. cricut, tab punch, stickles
As I approach 500 hits on my blog, I want to celebrate with some blog candy. Tell me what your favorite valentine celebration is - mine was my wedding! DH and I have been together for 23 years - married for 11 on Valentine's Day. I think he picked that day because it would be harder to forget! I'll do a random drawing on Wednesday, Jan. 23.
Thanks for visiting my blog! ~chris

I love the valentine you made. My favorite Valentine's Day was one year when my husband took me to a very nice restaurant. Usually, we stay home, so it was a very nice surprise.

Ummmm...fave V-day celebration? I like that my husband and I go out, together and ALONE, and I don't have to feel guilty about leaving the girls home (Not that they aren't old enough to stay home by themselves 17 and 13) but I just think its wrong to randomly go out to dinner and leave them home to fend for themselves...
Oh and don't you love the criss cross cards? they come together pretty quickly and they leave alot of room for expressing your creativity.
Great ccriss cross card. Count me in on this bling candy. One of my favorite one is when my husband drop me off at work and then went and picked out some really pretty flowers and brought them to work. When he picked me up he had a single rose for me. Then came home and had a candle light dinner. It was so sweet. Thanks for a chance.

What a cute card! I guess I don't really have a romantic memory, but I sure always enjoy the Valentine's parties at school. As a teacher, it is one of the nicest parties. Thanks for the chance to win.

What a great Valentine! None of my V-day's could top yours and over the years they have gotten less & less. I used to get a dozen red roses delivered at work, after 10 years it became a single red rose in a pretty vase, now it's sometimes just a cute card. We often go out to dinner though & we will go to our local See's and each pick out our favorite chocolates afterwards...yum:)
I was also married then, actually the day before. If we had to do it over again, we would wait a bit. Nothing is ever on sale that time of year. Hotels are at the peak, as are roses, etc. And of course, everyone ELSE is celebrating too! However, we try to break up the anniversary/v-day into two separate occasions/dates. One of our favorites was a full 24 hours away from the kids. We went rockwall climbing, ate mexican food, had dessert in the compass room atop the hyatt, stayed in a hotel, and ate out for breakfast as well. Sooo fun! Thanks for the opportunity!

My fav. celebration would be to spend it with both of my loves...my hubby and my daughter. Ok, the cat too. This year I think I'll have my daughter help make a special meal for my hubby.
Thanks!

Cute Valentine. Thanks for sharing. My favorite valentines day was when my hubby took me to a really romantic Italian restaurant and they played the Mandolin for us. It was beautiful.

Love the Criss-Cross Valentine Card - adorable! My daughter is also a scrapper/blogger, so my husband has her make him a card for whatever occassion is coming up. Then she mails the card to me, to give to him, so he can give it to me! Instead of writing in the card, he writes on a post-it note and puts it inside the card. He says it's because the card is too pretty to write in and I might want to use it later! So I use it later - on him - and I write on a post it note and put it inside the card!!!
