A card for the unthinkable

I had to make a card for something unthinkable - the death of a child. I didn't want it to be black and somber, but ... well, this is what I came up with. I don't know if it will be okay and I might have another go at it tomorrow. My heart hurts.

Recipe:
Stamps: Double Line Doodles, Warmest Regards
Paper: Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, Whisper White, Papertrey Everyday Blessings
Ink: versamark, blue bayou
Accessories: punches, black ep, markers, ribbon

Kiss your loved ones and make sure they know you love them. ~chris

Making a Sympathy card is difficult but for a child, I can only imagine....thankfully I have never had to make one. I think that yours is very nicely done. Sorry for the loss.
