There's a new challenge blog on the block called The Next Level. I posted about it here. This is the card I made for their first challenge - a card with an opening on the front.

I have never done a card like this before and so there was a bit of trial and error with the nesties till I got it close to the way I envisioned it. Card base is #100 white stock from Hammermill. Scalloped oval is Summer Sunrise from PTI. I can't wait to get my new in-colors as it looks to me like Crushed Curry is going to be the yellow of my dreams! The flowers and sentiment are from the Bella's Bloom set.
Thanks for visiting!

I like how you cut the middle out the scallop and cannot see how you did that. you will have to show how did that one. love the stamp flower as thatis apretty little thing.

Wow, what a gorgeous card! You did a great job on it. I really need to sit down and make some cards again. Haven't felt like doing much lately (cards, knitting, reading). Must be tired from teaching all day in my internship...
Sweet card! Thanks for joining us @ "The Next Level"!
Nice job! I was trying to see the opening, and till I saw the second picture I was convinced it was around the yellow scallop. Nice trick!
