Recent RAKs

I have had some most excellent surprises arrive at my door from north of the border and I thought I would share them with you. Thanks so much to Diane and Allison!

Well I survived my first solo weekend. I spent some time thrift store shopping for a file cabinet and a cassette tape holder (I keep my ink pads in this really nice wooden one I found a couple of years ago). With the new color changes at SU, I'm going to need more storage space for my ink pads! There are several "retiring" colors that will definitely not be retiring from my shelf. I spent some time organizing my stamp storage shelves. I think they may be ready for inventorying this week. I spend so much time trying to find things that I have decided to number my shelves and then list what is on each shelf in an excel spread sheet. I can then sort them alphabetically and know exactly which shelf the set is on that I am searching for. I really need to do some culling of sets and maybe that will be easier to do as I catalog each shelf - maybe. I am such a pack rat and I really, really need to change that!

New challenges are up at Kaboodle Doodles and Sentimental Sundays so be sure to pop over and check them out.

These are wonderful raks. I love your talking about the thrift store shopping! What a great idea! I need something to organize my House Mouse stamps, and I bet I could find something at the thrift store! Thanks for the inspiration! Best, Curt
